Prenatal Yoga Workshop for Childbirth Professionals
Would you like to help support your clients with yoga? Have you practiced yoga or heard about the benefits of prenatal yoga but are confused about what poses are best, worried about what poses to avoid and want help sorting it all out?
In this workshop you will learn the basic formula for creating unique yoga sequences for your clients that will help them reduce pain, manage fear, develop strength and confidence so they will be better prepared physically, mentally and emotionally for labor and childbirth.
Topics covered include:
-10 ways connecting to yoga connects one to childbirth
-From the bedroom to the birth center: how to use yoga to best prepare for labor
-How to adapt yoga to each trimester -and why you want to
-Common discomforts and what you can do about them
-Safety: which poses to avoid and why
-Helping hands: defining the role of support person in fun ways they will love
-Putting it all together: sample sequences you can use immediately
